It’s easy to understand why once you see the numerous benefits," says R A Smart. The company is the exclusive European distributor for RexFrame, an Australian framing system that is well established in both Australia and the US, and is now being introduced to the UK market. So, what is RexFrame? It's an aluminium frame combined with printed fabric to create a high-end look that presents customers with more graphic and less frame, explains R A Smart. "A primary goal when developing RexFrame was to limit the total number of pieces to keep it as simple as possible. The frames are easily assembled with hex keys and the graphics are fitted in minutes without any tools." The graphics are printed on stretch fabrics on wide format printers. "Even with just 20 different frame profiles, RexFrame extrusions are available as single sided, double sided, cubes, suspended, curved and lightboxes," says R A Smart. The different extrusions can be combined to build unique 3D structures such as cash wraps, entry arches and trade show displays; the modular system allows endless customisation. www.rexframe.co.uk Epson: SureColor SC-F9300 From high fashion to fun T-shirts, Epson says it has solutions for various markets, including dye sublimation and even industrial level direct- to-fabric printing through its subsidiary Robustelli. A new product for both of these sectors has been introduced in the last 12 months. “The Epson SureColor SC-F dye sublimation range, including the latest SC-F9300 printer, can achieve top results such as the creations of up and coming designer Richard Quinn, winner of the first Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design,” says the company. Brand new Epson Edge Print software supports Epson’s Precision Dot technology, including a halftone module, look-up tables and micro-weave combining to make an instantly noticeable difference to print quality. The SC-F9300 is designed for fast, high volume printing of clothing, textiles and soft signage, and promises a maximum print speed of 108.6m2/h and high resolution printing of up to 720 x 1,440 dpi. Revealed earlier this year for the industrial market is the new Monna Lisa Evo Tre 16, with eight colours and the ability to use acid, reactive, disperse and pigment inks. It is available in three different print widths (180, 220 and 320cm) and, says Epson, places the focus squarely on high quality results. www.epson.eu R A Smart has brought the RexFrame system to Europe The SureColor SC-F9300 dye sublimation printer from Epson
