The TS30-1300 is ideal for in-house production of low-volume printed products, including prototyping of textiles or sports apparel, or creation of customised items. “This reduces lead times for sample delivery when compared to outsourcing, and design changes can be implemented quickly,” explains Brett. “With the versatile TS30-1300, it is possible to print original, full-colour images on polyester fabrics, now widely used in the textile and apparel industry. The printer has been designed for unattended roll-to-roll, high speed transfer dye sublimation printing. It can print individual image art and seamless patterns at a maximum width of 1.8m and any length at speeds of up to 140m2/ hr (120m2/hr at sustained production rates). “The robust material feed design allows virtually wrinkle-free printing without the need for operator supervision,” says M&R. “The system supports printing on a wide range of heavy and thin papers, allowing flexibility on a variety of applications. Batch-queuing allows the system to be loaded with files for unattended non-stop printing.” M&R continues: “Textura 1800 employs variable-drop printing using water-based dye sublimation inks for exceptional image quality and bold, vibrant colours.
