The two companies, which are designers and manufacturers of licensed apparel, merged in 2017. Hannah joins from Smith & Brooks, where she was managing director. In her new role she will oversee Global Licensing’s new children’s daywear division, and pilot new lines from Fashion UK. www.globallicensing.co.uk Ink manufacturer MagnaColours has made a number of appointments recently, including the recruitment of Robert Cole as commercial director in the UK, and Ivan Cossio as business development management for the Americas. Robert has worked in a number of industries associated with chemical products, most recently in the digital textile sector in the US. He will be responsible for strategic sales management, technical support and marketing activities. Ivan, who will be based in California, US, has three decades of experience in the screen printing industry, including time at PolyOne and M&R. Also new to the company is marketing manager Paul Arnold , who joined in December. The Reveal Sublimation Imaging System works with both cotton and polyester substrates. The Reveal-S Film incorporates “smartcoating technology”, allowing it to be used on white or light- coloured cotton, with full-colour designs then able to be printed on it. “We were amazed by Reveal-S the first time we saw it! Being part of the development, and getting hints of what is to come, is really exciting,” commented Steven Wooldridge, managing director of Dye Sublimation Supplies. He reports that the film takes 18 seconds to press, with no weeding required. www.dyesublimationsupplies.co.uk Dye Sublimation Supplies has introduced a sublimation printing system for cottons Graffia wins Promotion & Branding prize draw Paul Jones of Graffia, Burnley, won a two-night weekend break when his name was picked out in the Promotion & Branding Show 2017 prize draw. “Graffia is the ‘go-to’ place for footwear customisation and Paul decided to visit the shows to see what was available to add to his existing Brother machinery,” said GS UK, who runs the shows. The new unit will be home to the company’s customer service team, despatch team and production facilities.
