Also new are the MagnaPrint High Density XL and Soft Density XL, which the company recommends for 3D high- build effects. Both ranges are available in white and neutral pastes, with High Density XL recommended for dramatic, high-build print areas, while Soft Density XL is recommended for rounded print areas with softer edges. Magna has expanded its range of metallic-effect inks too, with the launch of MagnaPrint Pearl Flex Sparkle, a stretchy print paste containing speciality pigments to create a sparkly, mother- of-pearl-like effect. It can be colour- matched to the MagnaPrint MultiShine for a non-colour-shifting print area. The company has also added two new shades to its MagnaPrint MultiChrome range: galaxy and crimson. “Galaxy switches from blue to cosmic black, whilst crimson creates a warm glow as the pigments change from yellow to red under different lights,“ says Magna. www.magnacolours.com [L-R] The new MagnaPrint MultiChrome shades of galaxy and crimson Amaya Sales UK: Kornit NeoPigment Inks Amaya Sales UK, which offers a full range of inks for all the printers it stocks, says: “Our Kornit water-based NeoPigment inks are absolutely free of heavy metals, formaldehyde and alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE), making them non-hazardous, non- toxic and biodegradable. As part of our waterless printing system, our biodegradable ink and energy-saving process makes Kornit an eco-friendly printing solution. These inks are for use with Kornit DTG equipment only.“ The company also provides DuPont Artistri water-based DTG inks for its TexJet range of printers and any compatible Epson- based DTG printers. “DuPont is one of the leaders in DTG inks and is renowned for its colourfastness and washability,“ adds the brand.
