We review all the new developments YES: SWF KS Super Compact Eight-Head YES has announced the pre-launch of the new SWF KS Super Compact eight-head industrial embroidery machine. Due to arrive before the end of 2018, the machine will be the focal point of the YES stand at Printwear & Promotion Live! 2019 in January. It has been designed with a standard depth of 78cm rather than the 1.6m of the original KS. “With the newly developed motor- driven under-bed trimming system and SWF’s supreme KS technology, this astonishing machine speeds through caps, garments and textiles up to 1,200spm as standard, delivering you unrivalled profits and beautiful designs at an unbeatable price,“ says YES. YES calls the new machine “a true production powerhouse“. It comes as standard with advanced features such as the SWF automatic oiling system, 15” colour touchscreen, new high-speed colour change and pantograph servo motors, which enable faster stitching. Also included are larger stitch lengths, larger design and stitch memory storage, built-in power failure recovery, laser design trace, embroidery hoop limits, narrow arm for shirt pocket embroidery and optional quick-change cap frames. “This makes this SWF embroidery machine the most advanced equipment currently available in the world, not forgetting the largest stitching area on the market on a compact machine footprint,“ concludes YES. www.yesltd.co.uk Stocks Embroidery Solutions: ZSK Sprint 7L and 7XL In September, ZSK Stickmaschinen GmbH held the fourth edition of its Open House Messe at its headquarters in Krefeld, Germany. “Distributors and customers from all over the world have been looking forward to the show, and intrigued to see what surprises ZSK have for the embroidery industry,“ reports Stocks, the exclusive UK distributors for ZSK machinery. “Previous years have seen over 1,200 visitors from more than 45 countries attend the show, and this year’s show has been the biggest yet.“ Earlier in the year, ZSK launched the Sprint 7 single-head embroidery machine with 18 needles, an increase on the usual 12 needles found on a ZSK tubular machine. Now the company has introduced the Sprint 7L and Sprint 7XL. These two models offer extended space to embroider large products, such as suitcases and golf bags. The embroidery field of the Sprint 7L is 400mm x 600mm, and 400mm x 1400mm on the Sprint 7XL, setting new benchmarks and offering flexibility for the use of this machine series. Stocks Embroidery Solutions was at the show with its new sales representative, William Barras. “It was all very interesting,“ he said. “We learnt a lot about the new technology available and what ZSK will be bringing to the industry in the near future.“ www.stocks.co.uk The Sprint 7L and 7XL can embroider large items such as suitcases and golf bags The new compact SWF KS embroidery machine has a depth of just 78cm
