YES has taken on an apprentice, 16-year-old Matthew Brown, who will be working with instructors at the company to learn the skills and knowledge he needs to excel at technical engineering. He joined YES just a couple of months after 21-year- old Ryan Lee-Storey was taken on as a junior technician. Roy Burton, managing director, said: “We are very excited to be investing in the exciting new training programme. A lot of the workforce in the textile industry have retired and as a result, skills have been lost. Digital Transfer Supplies (DTS), which began supplying Dae Ha Cad Cut products in September. It has 80% of the Cad Cut colours currently available on its website, with the remaining colours and digital films to be added soon. Michael Overy, managing director of Dae Ha UK, said: “The guys at DTS are leaders in the distribution and customer service of transfer/sublimation papers.
