It has a colour touchscreen with a simple, intuitive layout, and no experience is needed to adapt or create a new folding program, reports the supplier. The machine is controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), which promises “incredible reliability”, and has up to 60 different programs, each of which is able to fold four different pieces, with data back-up. There are a number of options that can be added to optimise the machine, such as production monitoring systems, multiple stacker stations for automatic sorting, and an extended lateral fold section. “Another excellent feature that could change the way your production is run is for two T-Apparels to be synchronised with one common delivery conveyor,” explains Adelco. “This is a great labour- and space-saving solution.
