The brand will be exhibiting a selection of its current product range at the next event, which takes place in Leeds in September. Also joining the Promotion & Branding 2018 Show in Leeds is the Brother TapeCreator Pro printer, which will be demonstrated on the GS UK stand. The printer can be used to create and print premium quality fabric ribbons or adhesive tapes for any occasion and is ideal for personalising gifts and packages. “If you’re running a business, you can even customise the ribbons or tapes with your company name and a single- colour logo. It’s a great opportunity to have branded packaging that gives your deliveries an added touch of professionalism,” said GS UK. The Leeds show is open from 9am to 4.30pm. As with all Promotion & Branding Shows, giveaways, refreshments and free parking will be available. For further information and to pre-register for the show, visit the event’s website. www.promobranding.events Snuggle orders two Avalanche HD6 printers from Adelco Snuggle, which specialises in DTG, UV and sublimation printing, has bought two Kornit Avalanche HD6 direct-to- garment printers from Adelco. The machines, which are reported by Kornit to reduce ink consumption by up to 30% compared to the R-Series version, were installed on 20 August and have replaced the company’s current pair of Kornit Storm Hexa printers. Shabbir Maimoon, managing director of Peterborough-based Snuggle, said: “We decided to buy the Avalanche HD6s due to improved feel of the garments, the reduction in ink cost and also the speed of the printers. We’ve been really happy with our Storm Hexas, but needed the additional capacity, which is what this will give us, as well as the improved finish.” According to Shabbir, it won’t be long until a third HD6 is purchased. “We’re currently looking for a new unit as we expand, because we have now outgrown our current premises. We’re hoping to invest in our third printer as soon as we have secured our new location.” www.snuggleprinting.co.uk www.adelco.co.uk Cottonridge creates a FairTrade hoodie with SoftStretch fabric This autumn, Cottonridge has launched a pullover hood made in its new SoftStretch fabric, a lightweight and stretchy weave with what the brand says is its trademark supersoft finish.
