This is why I always place the raised printing surface at the top edge of the platen as it makes it easier to line up the artwork in the print driver/RIP. 5 When loading your shirt, ensure that all collars, necks, buttons etc, sit below the top of the raised printing surface. In this case, I have laid the shirt onto the platen so the inside of the neck is sitting just on top of the raised printing surface – exposed and ready to print. Depending on the neckline, you may find it easier to turn the T-shirt inside out and thread it onto the platen so the entire inside neck area is exposed; again, ensure any potential obstructions sit below the raised printing surface.
