The team from Wrexham has a number of events planned to raise awareness and funds, with the first event, bag-packing at Tesco Cefn Mawr, raising £114. “Prostate Cancer has become the third biggest cancer killer in the UK and we want to help in any way possible to help raise funding and reduce this number,” said Golden Finishes. “When Acrefair YFC came to us, the idea was simple: to help raise awareness for young men and help them tackle this growing disease – and with some of our team’s own personal experiences, we felt we had to help in our own little small way.” Golden Finishes has had a busy few months, having launched 100% polyester, American-style pennants in February.
