i-Sub: Monti Antonio According to i-Sub, Monti Antonio is the “world’s largest supplier of thermoprinting heat presses and calendar presses for digital textile and dye sublimation printing”. The company offers more than 150 standard types of machines, from entry level right up to some of the largest machines in use globally. The machines are used for fashion textiles, sportswear, performance clothing, flag and banner displays, dye sublimation and more, reports i-Sub, which has exclusively distributed the Monti Antonio machines in the UK for 27 years. i-Sub has a Monti 853 calendar in its Kettering showroom for visitors to see in action – it is said to be able to print- press fabrics at speeds of over 100m2/hr. The Monti Antonio range includes hydraulic and pneumatic flatbeds; rotary calendars for roll-to-roll textile printing; rotary calendar and front table set-ups for both roll-to-roll printing and printing pieces for garments or cushions, for example; ribbon/lanyard calendars; and high pressure calendars for special effects and foiling applications. “All the Monti machines benefit from the Monti patented heating technology, which gives you perfect uniformity of heat for the best possible print results on your fabrics,” adds i-Sub. www.i-sub.co.uk DRYERS, CALENDARS AND HEAT PRESSES www.images-magazine.com 54 images MAY 2018 i-Sub has the Monti 853 calendar on display at its Kettering showroom Specialising in digital textiles since 1998, Sabur Digital says it is “second to none when it comes to the supply of all things for digital textile printing, including heat transfer presses”. Sabur continues: “Partnering with world-leading suppliers, including Klieverik (calendar presses) and Sefa (flat presses), ensures that we can provide not just ‘a’ but ‘the’ correct solution for your business.” Sefa provides a range of heat presses, from desktop clams right up to heavy-use, industrial, 2.5m x 2m presses. For medium to large volume producers of decorated panels, garments and roll-to-roll printed fabrics, Sabur recommends using a continuous transfer method. Klieverik manufactures a range of calendars from 1,800mm to 5,000mm wide with various drum sizes; the larger the drum, the quicker the production. Sabur Digital has heat presses for demonstration at its show suite in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. www.sublimationinks.com Klieverik calendar presses are available from Sabur Digital Sabur Digital: Klieverik and Sefa Presses
