INDUSTRY NEWS www.images-magazine.com 16 images MAY 2018 DecoNetwork has announced the launch of the DecoNetwork Version 8 ecommerce suite, which introduces fully responsive, mobile-friendly websites. “This update allows decorators to do business online easier than ever before, creating attractive, feature-complete and mobile-friendly sites without costly custom coding,” stated the company. Previous versions of the DecoNetwork software have been notable for their fully-featured online designer, eCommerce solution and Business Hub – an integrated back-end suite that simplifies managing every step from first contact to fulfillment, including customer information, quotes, approvals, purchasing, production, and shipping. Version 8 improves on these tools with the introduction of several powerful new features, according to the company. The developers have focused on ensuring that sites created with the new software suite are mobile friendly and fully responsive. “Customers can design and shop easily from any device. DecoNetwork Version 8 is optimised for mobile, tablet and desktop, ensuring a frictionless, enjoyable experience on any device; no matter the size or orientation of the display.” The Online Designer feature is also fully responsive. “Customers can upload designs, add text, and customise apparel and accessories from any device with an industry-first responsive designer that scales and reorients itself live.” The new Drag and Drop Website Designer offers website design with no need for coding. “Click, drag and change website settings visually and in real time, all without touching HTML or CSS. Anyone can create custom looks and add useful features from our premade widget library.” www.deconetwork.com Sign Show postponed until 2019 to make room for Print Show’s expansion Organisers have taken the decision to postpone The Sign Show until 2019 as additional space is needed for The Print Show which it was due to run alongside. Record demand for The Print Show means that this show alone will now occupy Hall 9 at the NEC in Birmingham. Chris Davies, director of The Print Show, explained: “The Print Show 2018 has had some fantastic early traction, with many major brands having confirmed their places at the event in September. After a really successful show at the International Centre in Telford last year, our relocation back to the NEC for this year has been a popular move. “This has meant we have been able to expand the show to now take up the whole of Hall 9 at the NEC. While this means that The Print Show will be bigger than ever before, it does unfortunately mean that we will have to postpone The Sign Show until 2019. “As Hall 10 next door is not available this year to host The Sign Show, it is with a heavy heart that we are postponing the event for 12 months. However, we have confirmed with the NEC that Hall 10 will be available alongside Hall 9 next year, so we will be able to run both events at a much larger scale.” www.theprintshow.com The Print Show is taking place on 18-20 September 2018 The new DecoNetwork Version 8 upgrade is fully responisve and works on all devices.
