Favourite colour: Secretly, liverwurst pink (Pantone 7520 C), but officially Stedman red (Pantone 485 C) because he is a loyal employee. www.stedman.eu “Fits perfectly, but I would’ve preferred it in a liverwurst hue.” For the latest industry news visit: www.images-magazine.com Games of Thrones embroidery to be auctioned The Game of Thrones textile art, known as the Hardhome Embroidery and a previous Images ‘Decorated product of the month’, is being auctioned on 12 February at the Out of the Ordinary sale by Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers at the Stansted Mountfitchet Auction Rooms. The piece, which measures 5.5m by 3.3m and was produced by members of the Embroiderers’ Guild, is of a White Walker from the HBO programme and was created for the UK DVD and Blu-ray launch of the fifth Games of Thrones series in 2016. The piece carries an estimate of £5,000–£8,000. www.sworder.co.uk The Game of Thrones embroidery is expected to be sold for £5,000–£8,000 YES launches DTG Digital G4 printer YES launched the DTG Digital G4 direct-to-garment printer in January, calling it “perfect for entry-level operators through to sophisticated users”. It is said to take less than 30 minutes to install after unpacking and features a 7” touchscreen and interchangeable, magnetic, quick-lock platens. According to John-Paul Burton, YES sales director, the new machine is capable of printing an 8” x 10” image in 28 seconds.
