Version 18 is the latest release of the Ethos software and includes numerous features such as inserting symbols, various new font styles and a ‘Quick Font’ tool that enables edited characters to be stored in a Quick Font that can then be used again within the design. All of the Ethos levels are fully modular and can be upgraded as business requirements grow, and all the systems purchased come with one year‘s software support. The digitising levels also include one or two days‘ training. The Ethos software is developed in the UK and used in- house by the GS UK design and digitising team. www.gs-uk.com DecoNetwork: Version 8 “DecoNetwork’s all-in-one integrated suite of cloud- hosted software provides you with all the tools you need to create and host an ecommerce site complete with affiliate stores, as well as shop management tools that cover every stage in your operation from initial customer contacts and quotes through purchasing, production and fulfilment,“ explains the company. It reports that in the latest release, the front end has been upgraded to be completely mobile-responsive as well as friendly to operate and maintain. DecoNetwork has also included a drag-and-drop website builder and updated the online designer to let end users decorate and customise garments from any device with any screen aspect. It adds: “Your customers can do business with you whenever, wherever and on whichever device they prefer.“ It continues: “We’ve improved even since the launch of these industry-first, mobile-friendly tools. Within the first month following the DecoNetwork 8 launch, we’ve added highly requested features including tools that simplify use of our Online Designer, including an Undo feature, object mirroring, and the ability to drag and drop images into the design.
