A visit to the show is simply a must for anyone interested in finding out about the very latest in textile print, finishing techniques, applications and equipment. “There will be over 185 exhibitors covering a wide range of industry sectors from DTG garment printing through to soft signage displays. The experts on stands are very willing to give the best advice and information on the latest equipment, inks and materials, and to help anyone thinking of adding new revenue streams to their businesses. In addition, Corel, CADlink and Adobe will be running free sessions on their latest software packages. “Another first for the show will be the appearance of retail consultant and broadcaster, Mary Portas. It’s amazing to have Mary as a headline speaker, and we look forward to her giving a keynote address followed by a Q&A on the opening day of the show.” Companies such as i-Sub, Epson, Your Print Specialists, Novachrome, Roland DG, TheMagicTouch and Amaya Sales UK have confirmed their presence at the show, along with Hybrid Services, the UK and Irish distributors of Mimaki. Not only will Hybrid have a large stand at the entrance to Hall 18, but the Visitors to Sign & Digital UK 2018 in late April can expect to see ‘Creativity brought to life’, say the show’s organisers, with live demos of textile printing promising to be a big draw Sign & Digital UK 2018 preview to retail, lightboxes, promotional products and even flooring. “This is a great opportunity for visitors to take home not only a textile product they’ve produced themselves, but also some inspiring ideas for their business,” says Brett. Other live demonstration workshops include the Antalis Décor Live demo, which will give visitors a complete overview of the uses of large format inkjet technology and illustrate practical ideas and applications for all types of digital décor. In addition, the show is introducing the new Sign & Digital Live TV Studio, which will feature a series of practical, interactive sessions, panel debates and keynote talks; they will also be available to view online via the Sign & Digital UK website. “Following in-depth visitor research, we are introducing even more practical and interactive show features, which will help our visitors discover potential new revenue streams and access expert advice,” explains marketing manager Jane Lewis. “The Sign & Digital Live TV studio will add a fun element to the show and be a hub for business ideas.” Sign & Digital UK is on at the NEC, Birmingham, from 24-26 April 2018.
