The Sign Show will debut from 27-29 September 2020, and will be co-located with its sister event, The Print Show, at the NEC in Birmingham. Operating under the theme of ‘A Sign of Evolution’, the show will showcase advances in the signage market with companies across the UK sign-making industry displaying their latest products, solutions and technologies. The show will also feature a Diversification Zone offering an insight into the opportunities available in markets related to sign-making, and visitors will be able to experience live technology demonstrations, as well as free training and consultancy from experts. www.thesignshow.co.uk Easy Cut Studio Version 5 now available EasyCut has announced the release of Easy Cut Studio Version 5. The updated vinyl-cutting software now offers enhanced functions, as well as 64-bit compatibility and support for over 600 different vinyl-cutting plotters. Available for Windows XP/ Vista/7/8/10 (32/64-bit) and MacOS 10.10-10.15 users, the upgrade has also been optimised to be fully compliant with Apple’s latest operating system, MacOS 10.15 Catalina. New features include custom guidelines, new functions in Trace Image, and custom colours for the Cutting Mat function. More than one project can also now be opened at a time, and projects can now be exported in a PDF format. Other stability improvements have been made, as well as small bug fixes. David works as a part-time IT director, and has previously held IT and CIO roles across UK-based and international businesses. As part of its new IT department, Screenworks has also created an internal role of IT manager for long- standing team member Dan Porter , who will work alongside David. David intends to introduce an Enterprise Resource Planning suite of software into Screenworks, implementing single data entry across the whole business. Previously a business account manager, Jessica has more than nine years’ experience with business and consumers, and seven years of sales experience. She joins Pro-Ad to help look after the company’s customer base and enquiries list.
