Xpres: Epson SC-F9400 64-inch dye sublimation printer “One of the new arrivals for 2020 is the Epson SureColour SC-F9400 64” dye sublimation printer – developed for fast, high-volume printing for clothing, textiles, soft signage and other printed merchandise,” says Xpres. “There is also a fluorescent ink option, the Epson SureColour SC-F9400H, for more creative designs.” Alongside the company’s range of printers, presses and calendars are sublimation and pigment ink sets for printing onto both polyester via sublimation, and natural fabrics via pigment inks, as well as calendars in various widths and drum diameters for low volume to mass production. Xpres says its SubliPrint paper range is also on offer to cover all textile printing needs – from lightweight 70gsm papers to 90gsm tacky, and in sizes 44-64”. The company’s sublimation textile range contains 23 materials for décor, soft signage and apparel/sportswear, including Mock Silk and Georgette for blouses and dresses, as well as scarves and accessories made from sheer fabrics. It also offers Tent and Heavy Twill for outdoor applications, such as awnings and deck chairs, as well as Deluxe Knit, which is perfect for cushions and upholstery. www.xpres.co.uk New to Xpres for 2020, the Epson SureColour SC-F9400 64” dye sublimation printer Resolute DTG: Ricoh Ri 1000 Resolute DTG is introducing a number of new processes for its Green Button systems, which will enable customers to diversify into promotional items. “Not many companies run their DTG systems flat out all the time – instead of letting them rest, there are a number of promotional items normally produced by sublimation that can be produced at no extra cost on a Resolute Green Button system,” explains the company. The new version of the Resolute RIP, available via a free online upgrade, will soon offer users a standard mouse mat template and a twin-sleeve template, designed for use with the Ricoh Ri 1000 printer. The mouse mat template allows users to print onto a standard mouse mat four pieces at a time, and has a special print mode that delivers “bright vibrant colours and pin sharp images”, reports Resolute. The twin-sleeve template will allow for sleeves, beanie hats, socks and similar items to be printed two pieces at a time on the Ri 1000. “This brings the total amount of platens for the Ri 1000 up to five, and the number will continue to rise as we develop more exciting ways to earn money on your Resolute Green Button DTG system,” promises the company. www.resolutedtg.com A standard mouse mat template, designed for the Ricoh Ri 1000, will soon be available from Resolute
