T he QD360 was introduced in 2013 and is already well-established in markets such as golf, gifting, hospitality and promotions. “As Beechfield Brands grew into different sectors we started to introduce more essentials into the marketplace, hence the introduction of the QD360 Pro Golf Umbrella,” Hadley explains. The product features a number of clever design details, which contribute to its enduring popularity, he adds. “It has an anti-lightning fibreglass frame and shaft, which is a great safety advantage when out in an open space such as the golf course. “Another built-in benefit is its windproof frame and shaft, which strengthens its structure to keep the user dry and in control while outside facing the elements.” The QD360 also features an ergonomic handle, which, Hadley reports, makes it comfortable to hold for long periods. The fabric used is a polyester pongee, which was selected because it’s a high-grade, tightly woven material that Hadley says is very durable and abrasion-resistant, and resists shrinking and stretching. The waterproof fabric dries quickly, is mould-resistant, and also resists fading, holding its colour well, even with repeated use.
