www.images-magazine.com 40 images NOVEMBER 2019 20 W hen Gildan® began the development of its new Gildan® Softstyle™ Adult EZ Print T-Shirt (64EZ0), it set itself the challenge of creating “the softest, cleanest surface you could dream of“ by washing high-stitch density 150gsm 100% ringspun cotton fabric with enzymes. “The enzyme wash reacts with the fabric and eats any loose cotton fuzz to leave a super-clean surface that’s great for all sorts of decoration – screen printing, transfers, and DTG especially.” The resulting 64EZ0 is a T-shirt that’s made for today: it boasts a contemporary seamless collar and cool modern- classic fit; it’s built to last with twin- needle stitching at the hems, and it is available in sizes S-3XL in four colours. “The EZ Print T-Shirt will get your graphics noticed,” promises Gildan. “It’s retail ready, and perfect for the veteran printer who can use the ultra-clean fabric to bring out the most intricate details in a crafted print. Equally, it offers an ideal, forgiving surface for the printer who is just starting out with DTG EZ does it and wants the easiest path to the best prints for both them and their customer. TearAway labelling As with all 2020 Gildan products, the EZ Print T-Shirt sports a two-layer paper TearAway label. This easily removable feature allows decorators to remove the branded top label only, leaving important size and care instructions still intact so that it’s easy for decorators to fulfil their orders and let consumers know how to look after their garments. Alternatively, both labels can be easily torn out so that Gildan expanded its ever-popular Softstyle product range at the start of 2020 with the launch of a new premium fabric line – the Gildan Softstyle Adult EZ Print T-Shirt.
