Previously located at the Sheepbridge Industrial Estate, the company now operates from Unit 4, Dunston Place. Co-owners Rebecca and Chris Blackwell made the difficult decision to close their doors during the beginning of the UK lockdown. However, their five-year-old CHANGING PLACES TheMagicTouch introduces Soft Metallic HTV TheMagicTouch has announced the addition of the new Soft Metallic heat transfer vinyl to its MagiCut range. Available in nine colours, the new heat transfer is supplied by the metre in a 500mm roll width format, and can be applied at 150°C for 10 seconds with medium pressure, and peeled cold. Soft Metallic is suitable for cotton, polyester and polycotton blends, as well as performance fabrics that require extra stretch flexibility from the transfer. After two years in development, Soft Metallic offers easy cutting and weeding using traditional plotter/cutter equipment, explained TheMagicTouch. “With its lightweight, 62 micron, high- elastic properties, precise and detailed designs are easily produced, and together with a superb look and feel, the new transfer vinyl offers great potential for sportswear, fashion, promotionalwear, workwear and craft markets.” Soft Metallic will be available in the UK from multi-brand distributors Ralawise and PenCarrie as part of their 2021 product offering. imagesmag.uk/TMT-SoftMetallic The new Soft Metallic heat transfer vinyl from TheMagicTouch comes in nine colours [L-R] Rebecca and Chris Blackwell outside Giraffe Graphics’ new premises company already had plans for new premises in the pipeline, explained Rebecca. “At the beginning of March, these aspirations seemed to become a little far-fetched! But thankfully, we have a great bunch of loyal, returning customers and friends who appreciate our services and keep coming back. “We spent time refining our website, and tried to ensure that despite the difficult circumstances, our clients could still reach us. “We’re excited to see how Giraffe continues to grow in our new HQ.” imagesmag.uk/Giraffe-Graphics Kornit Digital expands partnership with Amazon Kornit Digital has signed an expanded agreement with Amazon, committing the online retailer to spending $400 million on Kornit’s digital technology and services over the next five years.
