The new name is designed to reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability and “taking action for the greater good of everyone”. It will be added across its three existing schoolwear brands which will become One+All Performa, One+All Woodbank and One+All Courtelle. The business, based in Stockport in south Manchester, dates back to 1935 but is no longer owned by the Rowlinson family who founded it and is no longer focused on knitwear. In 2015, it shifted to employee ownership and has been 100% owned by its employees since last year. Managing director Neil Ward said: “It’s a forward-thinking ownership model that is all about sharing success across all the people involved in it and our new branding reflects that. We look after our people in the business, our supply chain, our customers, the planet – it’s about everyone.” The new name reflects the company’s certification as a B Corporation, which balances social and environmental benefits with profit, as well as it being an accredited Living Wage employer, a member of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, a full member of the Ethical Trading initiative and certified CarbonNeutral. The new One+All branding started being introduced in early July across the business. Made-to-order garments will reflect the new branding from September 2021, and all other garments from November 2021. Its website is already live and can be found at oneandall.co.uk . imagesmag.uk/rowlinson-one-all MagnaColours acquired by Avient Corporation MagnaColours, a UK manufacturer of water-based screen printing inks, has been acquired by the US-based Avient Corporation. The acquisition, worth nearly £35 million ($48 million), will see MagnaColours materials join Avient’s existing specialty inks portfolio alongside brands such as Wilflex, Union Ink, and Rutland. Tom Abbey, chairman of Magna, said: “With Avient, I have found a leader aligned with our sustainability values to take us to the next level and truly globalise the business. Avient was the clear choice, and I’m thrilled for Magna to begin its next chapter.” The deal will see Tom exiting the business gradually, with Magna continuing to have access to him for 20 months. He joined the business in 1987 and took over the helm from his father, Jim Abbey, who founded MagnaColours in 1978. Phil Cochrane, director of global product management for Avient’s Colormatrix business based in Knowsley in Merseyside, is joining the Magna team as integration manager. In a statement to customers, the group added: “Avient has no plans for changes to Magna products, brands or distribution partners. There are no plans for production consolidations or commercial changes to the portfolio. “The plan is to invest and grow by leveraging the technology and innovation of two great specialty inks providers while preserving Magna’s entrepreneurial spirit. In short, it’s business as usual.” imagesmag.uk/magna-avient The team at One+All, the new name for Rowlinson Knitwear Digital controls are now fitted as standard on all Vastex AirFlash (pictured) and RedFlash units
